Success starts with drive. Drive starts with passion. And Warshafsky Law began with a fervent passion for the legal profession. Our founding Milwaukee personal injury attorneys loved the law, viewing lawyering as a proud profession. Our founders believed in a sense of justice for both the community and clients. In the law, they realized the power their unique talents had to improve the lives of individuals while shaping policy in the community for the greater good. Over six decades later, these same values drive our personal injury lawyers, car accident attorneys, mesothelioma lawyers and slip and fall lawyers every day, with every client in every personal injury case.
Ted's larger than life founding of our personal injury law firm
When firm founder Ted Warshafsky came to Milwaukee right out of law school, he worked at a local firm for less than a month. Ted realized that the character of that firm was not as it had been represented. He quit. Ted founded his own firm and spent his days learning the city, meeting people and making contacts in the community. Luck was with him; there was a burgeoning new Latino community in the city. At the time, he was one of the only Milwaukee personal injury lawyers who spoke Spanish fluently. After 13 months, his practice flourished and he quit his factory job.
Over the years came John Schatzman, Mike Tarnoff, Jerry Bloch, Vic Harding, Werner Reis, and Frank Crivello—Milwaukee personal injury attorneys who bring the highest intellect, tenacious advocacy, excellent trial skills and intense devotion to clients.
Attorneys for Wisconsin charities and bigger community activism
The firm has formed a charitable foundation distributing scholarships to needy, deserving young people in Milwaukee. The foundation performs its share of pro bono work while supporting groups including the Milwaukee Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, the League of Martin, the Police Athletic League, theRide of Silence, the Southern Poverty Law Center, Trial Lawyers for Public Justice and various other civic groups that do so much to improve the quality of life in our community.
Perhaps the lesson to be learned from all of this is doing the right thing can also be a fun thing. The oldest members of the firm and the youngest members of the firm are all trying and winning cases, serving the public, and enjoying making a difference for individuals and the community at large.
